Hello
Hi everybody
I'm a member of the Andy McNab-Battleseen forum and was invited here. So here I am. In the past I was a footsoldier in Batalion Bevrijding in the Belgian Army, I served in a Recon Platoon, we call it 'Voltigeur'. These days I work in private security.
I am very fond of the Andy McNab books but I am also intrested in history, espacially the liberation days in 44. I actually live on the battlefield of the old days :-)
In case of bad grammar or other errors in my writing: forgive me, English is not my native language. I speak, write French and Dutch and manage some German aswell. But I read that good spelling and grammar is recuired on this site, so that might be a problem for me...
Merci!
Cheers

Re: Hello
Hi,
Firstly I'd like to welcome you to The Military Forums. Don't worry to much about spelling and grammar if English is not your native language. All we ask is that everyone puts some effort and care in to what they write.
Thanks for your time.

Hi and welcome.
I have a close friend and a mentor who lives in Leuven and retired from the Belgian army after the Rwanda/Burundi saga (served at a high rank). He is my inspiration. Respect to all Belgian soldiers!!
Cheers!
